I made a to do list again today for all the basic things I need to get done. Stretching from 3pm until now, 12.45 am, I have only completed two; which were very easy things, a phone call and meeting my previous lecturers. As I was writing down the to-do-list, I hesitated at writing down a few, because I know possibility of me not doing it is higher than me doing it, so no point writing right? Then I looked at the clutter in my room, the books on my desk, my camera, clothes and bags on the floor; even more stress, actually the word stress doesn't do justice to my feelings now, which are beyond that. Maybe fear and zero confidence paints the picture better, and I bet the picture is in black and white.

Kor is 21

Happy 21st Birthday to my Kor!

Though I know he doesn't read this, whatever lah. Yesterday's birthday bash was great, although my role as the emcee wasn't outstanding. All I did was "The food will be cleared at 10.30, so please feel free to grab more food in the 30 minutes left", " I thank all of you here tonight, the See Tho family is deeply grateful for your presence here and my brother has a few words to say to all of you" and etc. No humor or interesting stories. Total flop! But...I had fun. Haha, that is all that matters I guess.

The party started off with a very shortcut-ed speech from my brother. He said he was nervous. Then we makan and makan. First off was the performance from my dad and two of his best friends Uncle Chew and Uncle Barry. Very good singing from the three musketeers. Then we proceeded to my performance. It was supposed to be way later but since everyone was done eating and had nothing else to do I HAD to perform. Frankly I wasn't prepared and didn't rehearse with everyone else. Bro's friends came up front and sang Can't Help Falling in Love with my guitar accompaniment. Vocals and guitar didn't sync but sigh it is my first public performance after all, I'll just let it off and not be too hard on myself.

Jamming session with the dads preparing for their performance

Killed two birds with a stone. Appreciated the fathers for Father's Day as well.

Kris and Kath performed Because You Loved Me for their dad. They can sing pretty well, especially hitting the high notes

They were getting ready to give flowers to the dads performing.

His friends tried really hard to throw him up but failed miserably =(

Kris and me

Bro kononnya very appreciative of what we did for him. Haha.

First picture with an electric guitar. Too bad it isn't mine. The guitar really rocked!

Was told to act like a rocker. Lol.

Yay, let's toast!

More pictures to come. This round of pictures are kind of one-sided just with the Cheong sisters since I got it from them. Haven't gotten the overall pictures from the official photographer aka Uncle Paul.

Too bad we didn't make him cry. Kris was asking if there is anything the two of us can do to make him cry. Well, there wasn't anything since my brother doesn't cry because of us. Maybe, just maybe my parents go say something, then he'll cry. Well, he's an official and legal adult now. Time to get out of the house!

p.s. At the end when I was at the lift getting to the car park, the banquet staff if the birthday boy was my brother. So I said yes, then he asked, "If he is your brother, how old are you?" When I told him I'm younger he paused and thought for awhile.
Oh my! Do I look that old?

The forgotten fun days

I can say that I have forgotten how blissful it was being a kid. I can hardly remember how I looked like until I browsed through some old pictures. Seriously, if I were to look at myself when I was a baby, I can't imagine that the baby will grow up looking like me; no resemblance spotted. According to my mom, I was the 'samseng' among the three. Haha, whatever that meant. And as funny as it sounds, I actually enjoyed wearing dresses when I was about the age of a kindergarten-er; because I never wear dresses or skirts now, except for that Christmas 3 years ago.

The Three Musketeers

He was actually a caring brother. Now, herm...

I was looking cool from the start. Hah!

Looking angelic in a dress.

What a big smile. I was 3.

My bro syok sendiri, stuffing his shirt with oranges

I was 11, more adult looking already
